Coversyl contains the active ingredient perindopril arginine. Perindopril belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Coversyl is used to lower high blood pressure, treat heart failure or coronary artery disease.
It is also used to reduce the risk of cardiac events, such as heart attack in patients with stable coronary artery disease.
