Combodart is a combination medicine that contains Dutasteride and Tamsulosin as the two active ingredients. It is used for the relief of moderate to severe symptoms of an enlarged prostate or benign prostatic hyperplasia in men and to reduce the risk of developing a complete inability to pass urine that may require surgery. Dutasteride belongs to the class of medicines known as 5-alpha reductase inhibitors, while Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker.
